heroal VS The heroal VS is a fabric sun protection system designed for applications with lower wind load requirements and is the basic version of the zip-guided heroal VS Z. Unlike the Zipscreen, the fabric in the heroal VS is guided exclusively via the end strip. This makes the system particularly suitable for installation scenarios where wind resistance is of secondary importance. Depending on the fabric chosen, it is possible to achieve a sun protection solution ranging from translucent to almost opaque, which reduces solar radiation by up to 97 per cent. heroal VS C The heroal VS C is a fabric sun protection system with a delicate stainless steel cable guide and is particularly suitable for windows and curtain walls with narrow profile profiles. Soltis is a coated, pre-stressed polyester fabric with high tensile strength. Thanks to being tensioned in both directions and fixed with liquid PVC, the fabric retains its shape almost entirely even under heavy loads. With its low tendency to sag, Soltis is particularly well suited to large glass surfaces and is available in over 100 colour and design options.

Yes. heroal fabric screens without a zip are operated exclusively by electricity and therefore always require a power connection. Depending on requirements, motors from various manufacturers are used – solar-powered motors are also an option. For added comfort, the screens can be combined with sun or wind sensors, so that the sun protection reacts automatically to changes in the weather.
Yes. With the compact heroal Connect RS Wi-Fi module, your electric fabric screen becomes smart in no time at all – without the need for an additional smart home hub, gateway or adapter. The control system can be conveniently used via a smartphone app or voice command (e.g. Amazon Alexa). Retrofitting smart home integration is also possible without any problems. Textile screens without a zip are designed for areas with little wind. To protect the sun protection during stronger gusts, we recommend a combination of a wind monitor or wind sensor that automatically retracts the screen. For locations exposed to the wind or for use in high velocities of wind, the heroal VS Z zip screen is the better choice: thanks to its zip guide system, it remains securely in the guide rail even in velocities of wind up to 145 km/h.
